Held during Gun Violence Awareness Month, this special evening will bring families, friends, and supporters together for a candlelight tribute, words of hope and healing, a community pledge for peace, and a symbolic blue and orange release ceremony. Together, we remember those we’ve lost, stand with survivors, and choose peace for our communities.

Join the KD Strong Foundation for Kicks for a Cause: Back-to-School Community Event at Denny Dobbs Park in Covington, Georgia — a day dedicated to giving back, uplifting families, and honoring KD through community impact. This exciting event will feature free school supplies, shoe donations for children in need, giveaways, food, basketball activities, and a special meet-and-greet with Jakai Newton. Families will also have opportunities to win autographed items, cash prizes, and enjoy fun activities for all ages. Together, we’re helping students start the school year confident, prepared, and supported.
